  This Guidance is intended to offer architects, designers, constructors, building occupiers and others, effective and feasible recommendations and selection criteria for the use of Passive Fire Protection (PFP) systems in buildings. It is the outcome of a three year ‘Partners in Innovation’ project, which was partly funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister.
